Starting a law firm in the midst of a global pandemic has been both challenging and rewarding.  We at NIKA LAW LLP are extremely grateful to have persevered through what is a devastating time for small businesses.  We know that our line of work is essential and particularly for those most vulnerable of our clientele  – the elderly.  There has definitely been an uptick of need in the wills and estates space within the legal industry and we have worked tirelessly to bring these essential legal services to our clients, whether they are in the hospital, quarantined at home, or in long-term care. 

Elder Law, Estate Litigation, Wills and Power of Attorney issues are what we dealt with. COVID or no COVID, these issues are live and amongst us.  Fortunately, we live in a world where technology makes everything possible.  We have virtual meetings, virtual signings and virtual hearings with the court.  We are equipped, available and adaptable.
