MEET NITHILA
Nithila began her legal career as a litigator at a reputable boutique Civil Litigation Toronto firm before co-founding NIKA LAW LLP. Working under the guidance and mentorship of a top Ontario Civil Litigator and Certified Specialist in the GTA, Nithila has developed unique advocacy skills.
Nithila has experience drafting complex pleadings, conducting examinations and consolidating expert medical analysis & reports. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Master’s Court and Tribunals. At NIKA, Nithila’s practice focuses in areas of Estate Litigation and Elder Advocacy, including cases of financial elder abuse, Will challenges, dependant support claims, POA disputes and has also expanded to the solicitor-side of estate services including drafting of Wills and Power of Attorney documents. Nithila is also experienced in assisting and advising executors and substitute decision-makers during their administration of another’s estate.
Nithila prides herself on being a compassionate lawyer who takes time to truly understand her clients’ goals. Her objective is to help her clients achieve a desired outcome while being conscious of legal fees and the emotional toll of the process.
