MEET Craig J. Mara

Craig is an Associate Lawyer with NIKA LAW and his practice expands across a broad range of estate, trust, incapacity and elder law matters. 

As an estate planner, Craig strives not only to ensure that the Will and Powers of Attorney documents he drafts fulfil his client’s intentions, but also that his clients understand precisely how these documents achieve their goals.  Craig appreciates that no two estates are alike and implements a thoughtful and detailed approach providing each of his clients with an estate plan that is tailored to their objectives.

Craig is also meticulous with his litigation files.  He subscribes to the view that strong advocacy requires both legal preparation, as well as compassion for the client.  By leaving no stone unturned, Craig seeks to assure his clients that they are in good hands and that he cares for their matter as much as they do.  

Craig attended the University of Southampton Law School, where he graduated with First-Class Honours and was awarded the Dean’s List Award for academic achievement.  Craig is an avid writer.  He was published in Volume 11 of the Southampton Student Law Review and also received First-Class marks on his dissertation which discussed Estate Planning and Secret Trusts.  

Outside of the office, Craig enjoys reading, planning his next trip and cheering on his Philadelphia Flyers.
