MEET JACK
Jack is a committed Associate Lawyer with NIKA LAW practicing in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation. He is happy to serve clients with matters relating to trusts, incapacity, and has a particular interest in elder law and elder advocacy.
Appreciating that no two clients have the same needs, Jack strives to develop individualized solutions, tailored to accomplish his client’s objectives effectively and efficiently. Jack works with – rather than for – his clients.
Prior to joining NIKA, Jack worked in civil litigation. He is well prepared to roll up his sleeves and zealously advocate for each client who walks in the door. Understanding that litigation files can be emotionally taxing, Jack offers understanding and clear communication to clients to support them through the process.
While at Osgoode Hall Law School, Jack worked at ARCH Disability Law Centre – a Toronto-based legal aid clinic that serves people with disabilities across Canada. At ARCH, Jack worked on Ontario Human Rights Tribunal matters, and advocated for changes to Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) law. Jack continues to promote the agency of people with disabilities in his practice today.
Prior to law school, Jack worked in software development. He originally hails from California, and loves travelling back home to visit family and go hiking in the Bay Area.
