Alison Costa is a Student at Law at NIKA LAW LLP, where she aspires to further develop her understanding and exposure to the practice of Wills, Estates, and Elder Law before being called to the Bar of Ontario this summer. At NIKA LAW, Alison is exposed to a wide variety of files ranging from estate planning, executor and POA advisory, probate and estate litigation and is a valuable research resource for the team.
Alison is a proud graduate of Queen’s Law School and former student caseworker at the Pro Bono Student Canada’s Family Justice Centre where she worked with family law lawyers to provide complementary legal services to self-represented litigants in Ontario. Her undergraduate education from the University of Ottawa in Social Sciences, Criminology and Law has provided Alison with relevant foundational knowledge of concepts that transcend throughout the practice of Wills & Estates.
Outside of the office, Alison enjoys spending time with family, watching trivia shows, and cuddling with her beloved fur baby.
