A graduate from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Jasmine will be articling with Nika Law LLP for the 2025-2026 term.
Jasmine is an Affiliate member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is working towards completing the STEP Canada Diploma in Trusts and Estates. She is looking forward to developing a specialized career in estate planning and litigation.
During law school, Jasmine gained legal experience as a Research Assistant, where she focused on legal and ethical considerations related to Medical Assistance in Dying. Additionally, she completed a clinical placement at Downtown Legal Services in the Refugee and Immigration Division, where she researched and drafted submissions for cases heard at various levels of Canadian courts. Jasmine also contributed to student leadership and advocacy initiatives as a Volunteer Case Worker with the Canadian Association for Refugee Lawyers, an Executive in the Faculty’s Peer Mentor Program, and a Student Investigator with the International Human Rights Program.
Before attending law school, Jasmine completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction at the University of Toronto, majoring in Sociology with double minors in Ethics, Law, and Society and Environmental Law and Policy.
Outside of the office, Jasmine enjoys travelling, going on long hikes with her husky, and solving (or trying to solve) the daily New York Times crossword puzzles.
