MEET MEGHAN
Meghan Borg is a Law Clerk at NIKA LAW LLP, where she primarily supports Victoria Holland and Craig Mara. She plays an integral role in file organization, document management, and client and third-party communication, helping ensure matters progress efficiently and effectively.
Meghan earned her Honours Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a Minor in Sociology, from Carleton University. Her academic experience sparked a passion for the legal field, leading her to pursue a Juris Doctor (Honours) at Bond University in Queensland, Australia.
As an internationally trained lawyer, Meghan practiced in Queensland for four years, gaining valuable experience in Wills and Estates as well as Real Estate Law. After spending six years abroad, she returned home to Toronto to begin the accreditation process to practice law in Canada. She is currently preparing for her National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) exams and the Ontario Bar, with the goal of being called to the Bar in 2026.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys travelling, spending time with friends, and staying active through Pilates and long walks.
MEET JADE YORUK
Jade is a law clerk focused on estate planning and estate litigation.
Prior to joining NIKA LAW LLP, Jade worked for a top-tier mid-size law firm in Toronto, where she gained experience in various legal departments, which incentivized her to complete the accelerated Law Clerk Diploma at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.
Jade is involved in all aspects of the estate litigation and planning process, from liaising with clients to assisting with drafting and document production.
Jade is a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO), where she continuously strives to develop her skills and credentials by utilizing the various resources provided and by staying current with the ever-changing legal environment.
