MEET AMAL

Amal is an Student-at-Law at NIKA LAW LLP with a strong interest in estate planning, trusts, and litigation. In her role, she is dedicated to advocating for clients and delivering high-quality legal work tailored to their unique objectives and circumstances.

Prior to joining the firm, Amal was selected as a Student Scholar Fellow with the Law Commission of Ontario, where she conducted in-depth legal and policy research to support law reform initiatives that enhanced environmental accountability.

Most recently, she gained further experience as a Placement Student with the Ministry of the Attorney General (Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services). There, she strengthened her legal research skills and supported counsel on key projects impacting Ontario’s vulnerable populations, while contributing to the development of policy advice provided to ministry clients. Amal aspires to integrate her research and advocacy skills into the practice of estate litigation.

Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis and spending quality time with family and friends.
