
Adam Newton is an Associate Lawyer at NIKA LAW LLP whose practice encompasses estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation. Prior to joining NIKA LAW LLP, he articled at an estate litigation firm, where he developed a thorough understanding of estate trustee and substitute-decision-maker fiduciary obligations, common pitfalls in will drafting, and the rights of beneficiaries.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Guelph and worked in the entertainment industry before receiving dual Canadian and American Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Windsor, and the University of Detroit Mercy. His background in the arts and litigation provide him with an adaptable skillset that allows him to provide each client with a tailored approach as their case develops.
Adam is passionate about helping clients identify and solve problems as they plan their estate and continues to build his practice in this area.
Outside of his practice, Adam enjoys cooking, writing, participating in improv, and spending time with his family.
