
Monica (she/they) is articling with NIKA LAW for the 2025-2026 term. She will be called to the bar in 2026.
Monica is happy to offer legal services in Etobicoke, where she grew up. Inspired by her own family’s legacy, she recognizes that family, memory, and responsibility sit at the heart of estates law.
Monica is grief informed. Her work is rooted in an intersectional, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and trauma-informed approach.
Outside of the office, she is a disciplined artist, writer, and budding DJ.

MEET JADE YORUK
Jade is a law clerk focused on estate planning and estate litigation.
Prior to joining NIKA LAW LLP, Jade worked for a top-tier mid-size law firm in Toronto, where she gained experience in various legal departments, which incentivized her to complete the accelerated Law Clerk Diploma at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.
Jade is involved in all aspects of the estate litigation and planning process, from liaising with clients to assisting with drafting and document production.
Jade is a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO), where she continuously strives to develop her skills and credentials by utilizing the various resources provided and by staying current with the ever-changing legal environment.
